Michael Port told you that you do not have to give them to be a good sales person. Instead, listen to what your customers needs and desires, tell them how your products and services can help them, and tell them what the results will be. Have a conversation with your customers and develop a relationship with clients. You do not need to use a pitch or feel you are selling something that they don’t need. Elevator speech is all about YOU, your customers don’t care about you, they care about what YOU CAN DO FOR THEM.
