MAKE ONLY ONE NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION ? BUT KEEP IT

If you have ever done any after-dinner speaking, on the way home you probably thought of any number of witty things you should have said at the dinner.
Now that the year is behind you, you will probably think of any number of things you could have done to get business, but didn’t do.
You will think of many arguments which you could have used but didn’t use.
You will think of many orders you should have gone after intensively, but didn’t.
You will think of lots of business you should have had, but didn’t get.
But you have one big advantage over the after-dinner speaker. So far as he is concerned, the dinner is over when the guests depart. But with you another year is beginning.
So when you are reflecting on your year’s work, don’t just think about these things and forget them. Resolve to do next year all the things you should have done this year, and do them.
