Another thing I learned from the Mac cosmetic guy on Youtube is that he subscribed to many other people’s video who also create similar videos as he does. When you watch a video, you can find similar videos on the side bar. I usually click on it, and I am sure a lot of other people do the same. In addition, I like to see what other videos that person have created. When you click on that link to see other videos, you also see their subscribers.

I was trying to find out how to make my own homemade makeup brush cleaner on Youtube the other day. When I was watching various videos, I found many youtube videos that show you how to use Mac cosmetics for different type of make up effect created by the same guy. He showed you what products to use to make your face look slimmer, which makeup brush to use for what purpose, etc. He didn’t say he worked for Mac, but I believe he does. He knows everything about Mac cosmetics, even the number that identify each brush!!

It happens to me a lot, probably you experience the same thing as well. When the time comes to decide where you want to go for lunch or dinner, you and your friends (or husband/wife, whoever) would go back and forth to try to decide where to go.  Once you arrive at the restaurant, then you will go back and forth to decide what to eat.

Many restaurants have daily specials that help them to promote certain items on their menu. It also indirectly help their customers to make up their mind of what they should get.

When I left work today, I notice my co-worker’s car has a “Mystery Spot” bumper sticker on it. Mystery Spot is a popular tourist destination in San Francisco bay area. I see it on the freeway all the time as well.

Every visitor who visit Mystery Spot receive a bumper sticker as a souvenir. I am sure they plan to use this souvenir to ask their visitors to advertise for them…. for free (they wouldn’t tell you that, of course). It is a simple bumper sticker, just yellow background with black text.

When I went to the gym today, I saw a poster of a “Workout party” the gym is going to have next week. Of course, all members and non-members are invited. They encourage their members to bring their friends and families to try out their group classes, and the equipment.

Can you put that idea to use in your business? Many home based business, or MLM business, like to use party to attract clients, such as tupperware party, jewelry party, cosmetics party, winte tasting etc. I have heard of dentists host parties on special days for their customers as well.

I turned on the tv last night, and a Cindy Crawford skincare infomercial was on. I didn’t know she has a skincare line, so I kept watching it.

Like many other infomercials, they tell you how great the products are, and the skincare products went through a long scientific process to create.

For this infomercial, Cindy Crawford is the best selling point. The infomercial shows a picture of Cindy when she was 28, right next to a current picture of her at age 41. You can’t tell she has aged a bit. The whole world know that she is beautiful.
